Aeromotive X1 Series Fuel Pressure Regulators — Return-Style (Carb & EFI)

One regulator family, three ways to win. The X1 Series gives you clean, stable pressure control for carb and EFI, naturally aspirated or boost. All variants use large -8 ORB ports, a 1/8" NPT gauge port, and a 1:1 boost reference for forced induction. Pick your pressure range and flow seat, plumb it once, and go.

Which X1 do I need?

Carb (3–20 PSI)
Blow-through or NA carbs. High-flow .313" seat. Up to ~150 GPH with -8 return.
EFI Standard (35–75 PSI)
Street/strip EFI. .188" seat. Up to ~150 GPH with -8 return.
EFI Pro (35–75 PSI, High Flow)
Big pump / multi-pump builds. .313" seat. Up to ~250 GPH with -8 return.

Compatibility & conversion

All variants use -8 ORB ports. Select seat size for your pump flow: .188" seat for standard EFI flow; .313" seat for high-flow or multi-pump systems. X1 internals can be swapped later with service/conversion kits (seat + diaphragm/poppet + spring), so you can change pressure range/flow without re-plumbing.

Install notes

  • Return-style plumbing: feed → rails/filters → regulator → -8 AN return to tank.
  • ORB ports: use the supplied O-rings; do not apply thread tape/paste to ORB threads. The AN flare joints seal on the 37° seats—no sealant.
  • Set base pressure with vacuum/boost line disconnected; reconnect for 1:1 rising rate under boost.
  • Mount away from headers/exhaust; bracket is included.
