Tanks Inc. 5-Bolt Fuel Level Sending Units (Adjustable 6–24")

Accurate fuel-level readings without drama. These SAE 5-bolt senders are built for Tanks Inc. EFI-ready tanks and most aftermarket steel/aluminum tanks using the 5-hole pattern. They cut to length for depths from 6" to 24", work on 6–24 V (positive or negative ground), and use a durable ceramic rheostat for stable gauge response.

  • ✅ Adjustable 6–24" tank depth
  • ✅ SAE 5-bolt pattern
  • ✅ Works on 6–24 V, ± ground
  • ✅ High-quality ceramic board rheostat

Choose Your Ohm Range (Match Your Gauge)

Pick the ohm range that matches your gauge brand or OEM standard. First number is Empty → second number is Full.

GM 1965-Up

TAN-GML — 0–90 Ω (most GM & LS swap gauges)

GM Up To 1964

TAN-GME — 0–30 Ω

Early Ford & Mopar

TAN-ORG — 73–10 Ω

Ford 1987-Up

TAN-FDL — 16–158 Ω

VDO

TAN-VDO — 10–180 Ω

Aftermarket/Stewart-Warner

TAN-SW — 240–33 Ω

🔧 Tip: If your gauge and sender ohms don’t match, use a gauge interface like Meter Match / Fuel Link to calibrate.

FAQs

How do I pick the right sender?
Choose the ohm range that matches your gauge (not the tank). GM 1965-up uses 0–90 Ω; many aftermarket gauges are 240–33 Ω; Ford/Mopar early is 73–10 Ω; see the chart above.
Will this work with my 12 V system?
Yes. These senders read resistance to ground and are compatible from 6 to 24 volts, positive or negative ground.
Does this include a pickup tube?
No. These are level senders only. Fuel pickup/return lines are handled by your in-tank module or separate fittings.
